roads after dark is not the greatest idea.

- Hosteria Mandala -located on the beach in Puerto Lopez, just outside
of Parque Nacional Machalilla. Apparently the hosteria offers
cozy private cabins amidst beautiful gardens, with a restaurant
serving local and Italian dishes......sadly when we went there
they were unable to serve us because of a shortage of staff.

floor as can be subject to noise from reception level above.

-located at the Machalilla National Park, the hotel can accommodate
42 guests, and offers diving, biking, kayaking and fishing. We
visted it briefly and it looked very nice, although does not
have a sea frontage.
